About Me

I specialize in treating anxiety and in helping people believe in themselves and their power to change, grow and connect. I work collaboratively with individuals to identify and understand the source of their anxiety, and help them develop personalized strategies for coping with symptoms. My passion for treating anxiety is rooted in my belief that every individual deserves a life free from unnecessary fear and anxiety. Through my years of experience, I have developed effective techniques to help individuals transform their lives. If you or a loved one are struggling with anxiety, I am here to help.

Mindful Coping

Anxiety and depression can be overwhelming, and it's easy to feel lost in our own thoughts and emotions. Mindfulness practices are an essential and effective part of treating these conditions. My approach to psychotherapy emphasizes the importance of mindfulness practices to create space and clarity for individuals to step out of the chaos and confusion of everyday life. By staying connected to our bodies and exploring our thoughts and feelings, we begin to know ourselves better and develop the tools to manage our emotions more effectively.

Walk & Talk Therapy

(suspended 6/15-9/15)

Walk & Talk Therapy is a unique form of psychotherapy that takes place outdoors and with movement. There is evidence that both being in nature and movement positively impact mental health. My Walk & Talk therapy combines the healing power of nature with the opportunity to talk and process thoughts and feelings in a relaxed environment. Additionally,  some people find it easier to talk while engaging in a parallel activity, such as walking.

Art, playfulness and Sandtray therapy are powerful tools to help us go deep and process, heal, and understand our lives. I utilize sandtray, art, and other forms of play to help bring issues and feelings to the surface. These are powerful tools that help us engage, rebuild and restore. By taking a step back and engaging in , we can gain a unique perspective on our lives, and often find healing and understanding. Utilizing these creative techniques can be transformative.
